GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDD MORNING!

Lot’s going on in my brain.

• Perry laid the smack down about sexual temptation yesterday. It was specific, unapologetic, and necessary.

• There may have been a few parents who lied about their kids’ age to get them in the big service. HAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. People shouldn’t do that. Two words: Back-fire.

• Over 8,400 people yesterday – that’s 3 weeks in a row over 8,000! WOW!!

• Sherry is back from maternity leave. Yippeee!!!

• All staff meeting on deck for Thursday (I love those)

• By the end of last week delirium had set in….and someone snuck this picture. Oh dear.

I don’t even know…

• Blog posts have been few this week. I was out sick on Monday which created a lag in productivity.

• I started reading The Message last night which was freaking awesome. I love the freshness. I also found myself retaining more because of the conversational style.

• In 1 Cor. Paul was unapologetic about being bold and in their face. He basically laid the smack down and told them they better clean up their act.
  

• We had an awesome volunteer bring home made brownies and coffee to the construction peeps on Tuesday. They didn’t even know what to do with themselves!!

• There are a lot more cool pictures and progress updates on the GameTime blog, including the playground at Homeland Park!!!

• My teammates and I have laughed hysterically a lot today. I’m glad I get to work with fun people.
  

So…the first phone call of the morning started like this…

Me: Thanks for calling NewSpring, this is Sydney, how may I help you?

Lady: Hi, I’m one of the blood sucking leeches Perry was talking about.

[awkward pause]

Me: Um…ok.

Lady: I’m not doing anything and I just need to do something. So, what is the commitment for volunteering?

At least one person was listening this weekend and decided to do something about it!! YESSSSssssss!!
