I saw this picture of the day today for National Geographic.

It made me laugh out loud and brought back nightmarish memories of a time when I dressed like that.

Still unbelievable.

Blogging drought = 10 days.

Sad.

I haven’t figured out what or when to write in the midst of this new role.

It seems that other things take up my time at work…

Things like learning a new job, learning a new team, writing/producing the end of a series, preparing for the next series, figuring out our “multiple campus” strategy, and thinking about our series in August.

Shuh-zam.

Hopefully I will learn my new schedule/brain waves and I’ll be able to blog something substantial soon.

:-)

OK, doing a little recon….

I need to know the craziest/most fun/insane/awesome GAMES you’ve ever played!!

I’m not talking about operation, chess, or monopoly.

I’m talking about things like feeding someone cheetos with your feet (thank you Whitney Rankin).

Think back to youth camps, summer camps, birthday parties…dig deep!

This should be fun!

Just saw my google reader for the first time in a week — 421 unread items.

That’s not overwhelming at all.

And, yesterday when I came into work there were 28 emails from Twitter (yes, I took the plunge).

18 of them are still unopened.

Those numbers lead me to believe that I’m actually getting work done and not just wasting time.

And, I’m about to clear the slate and D-E-L-E-T-E.

AKA: “Mark all as read.”

Very hard for me. But necessary.

WOO HOO!!!!!

Ok…I have to share these pictures.

John and I went to the Biltmore House for a memorial day adventure…it was INSANE!!!!!!!

#1. I can’t believe 3 people lived in that huge mansion. They had over 30 servants. What?!

#2. The dude owned 125,000 acres of land – equivalent to FOUR counties. 19 miles up to Pisgah National forest and 20 miles past it. Holy cow.

#3. Some kind of locust bugs were in season and there was a loud car alarm sounding hum in the woods. Creepy.

#4. The best part of the day might have been visiting with the mule down on the farm. She needs a little dental work….

I’m debating whether or not to start twittering.

YES:

  • Fun
  • Keep up with people
  • Laugh a lot

NO

  • Time vacuum
  • Distraction
  • One more thing to keep up with
  • I hate the word “twitter”

Convince me…
